One of the things I love about participating in the At Home DIY Challenge every month is all the great projects that I get to share with you. Like these 15 DIY Knockoff Projects from last month’s challenge.
If you’re not familiar with the term knockoff it’s where you make something yourself that you’ve seen in a store. It might be furniture, decor, clothing, anything really. If you’re inspired to make your own version it’s called a DIY knockoff.
Last month I made my version of a Crate & Barrel Modern End Table for a fraction of the retail cost. Not to take anything away from the stores but sometimes we don’t have the funds to buy what we want, so we make it.
Check out my “DIY Tools” list on my Amazon Store to find all the tools you need to start your own DIY Knockoff Project.
I can’t wait to hear which ones are your favorite!
I can't believe Megan made this for about 1/10th the price listed at the store! Her son loves it so that's a successful DIY knockoff project if I've ever was one.
Eileen made the cutest reverse paint dip stool. I want these as bar stools for my kitchen now.
Love this cool and modern twist on a traditional plant trellis that Brittany made!
Christine built such a great side-table, perfect DIY knockoff for any size room.
Here's an option if you'd rather buy one.
OMG this tripod light that Sherry made makes me want to go hunt down an old wooden tripod so I can copy her. If you can't find one there are several options available online.
I'm still in love with this beauty, yes I'm just a little bit biased 😀
I know your kiddos will love this because Stephanie's kiddos love theirs....I'm saving it for when I have grand-littles running around my house.
Kenya got her little guy in on the fun when she made him a huge growth chart. He will love tracking his height year after year. Here's some no-time-to-DIY options.
Can you believe this is the first piece of furniture that Christina has every built?! Way to go, and so smart to use a hall-tree on the back porch by the pool!
I love the faux boxwood wreath she has hanging from one of the hooks.
Danielle also tackled her first furniture project and I think she did a great job!! Read her post for her tips on what she'd do differently the next time.

Casey built a beautiful basket side table and blanket storage has never looked so good!
Also, I just discovered you can get Mexican Blankets online!
I love this blanket ladder that Amy built. If you have old quilts they need to be out so you can enjoy them. If you don't have quilts you can use it for pretty scarves and shawls, or even towels in the bathroom.
Serena & Lily Inspired Console Table: Build It Cheaper Than You Can Buy It
Teri created this fun and colorful console table that she covered in wallpaper! Yes, wallpaper!! Can you believe it?
Are you ready to start on your own DIY knockoff project? The options are endless!
My first knockoff project was the Chevron Storage Cabinet I built from Jen Woodhouse’s plans. And I’ve also done projects that were by someone else. Like when I gave my Office Desk Chair a makeover and I still love it.
Aren’t all these projects great?! Which is your favorite DIY Knockoff?
