I just love the color on this night stand, and paired with the natural top and white knobs the finished paint update is so beautiful. But you've got to see what Stephanie did to the top, amazing!!
This little night stand started out pine and had been in my daughter's room for many year. She didn't take it with her when she moved out so when I had the opportunity to work with country chic paint I chose their Trigger metallic cream paint and I love it.
It goes on so smooth and has a beautiful metallic sheen. I even used it to update the color of the knobs on the drawers.
Aren't these chairs amazing? I love the fun fabric on the cushions and the glossy paint job turned outdated chairs into focal points in the dining room.
I got this dresser at a garage sale for $45 and it was in bad shape. I stripped the top of the damaged finish and it stained up so nicely. I really love two-tone paint on dressers and the new cup drawer pulls were a big improvement over the dated ones it came with.
Don't scroll past this before picture, the brightened top of this end table and the white painted base is a must see.
When I found this beauty it was in rough shape. Literally it looked like a face when I got it. Someone added knobs where there weren't any originally, so it could only be painted to save it.
She's lovely now and sits by my desk in the office to this day.
One man's trash is Marty's treasure. She purchased this on the FB Marketplace and when it was in bad shape but a little elbow grease, a sander and a little bit of paint and now it's beautiful!
If you've never tried to paint something so intricate as caning you'll need the trick Lindsay used. Her chairs turned out beautiful and the new paint and seat covers bring them out of the past.
Christine couldn't bring herself to toss her old old sewing machine cabinet. So she re-imagined as a desk. The new pink paint job freshened it up fro the old dark stain. It's the perfect spot to write a little note or wrap a small gift.
Mixing colors is easier than you think
Update even the smallest of projects with a little paint. Get creative with mixing colors to create an hombre effect. And use white to create a beautiful contrast.
Don't use your old CD baskets for CD's any longer? Give them an update with some craft paint and add a few extra details to make them fun. Using the frosted glass paint gives this toilet tank caddy a coastal vibe.
I didn't literally, I pulled this old double-headed desk light from the trash but I did save it from heading there when the house across the street was being renovated. The junk haulers were on their way and I'm so thrilled I was able to take this light from dusty and dingy to fun and bright!
Create an hombre effect like this when by custom mixing craft paint.

I thought these were fancy wall stickers or decals. It's just paint people, she did it with spray paint!!
I updated our old builder beige bathroom (that we installed ourselves LOL) with 3 simple paint projects. The walls, the vanity, and an easy project with a huge impact in the TP Cabinet.
